This is a pretty awful "Technic" set although it was on sale when I bought it. Who can resist a LEGO sale? And the box actually says Technic...
Year 1998 and 119 pieces.
Not going to make much comments on this one. This is the main model however.

Main model, target. Shot the white dish and flee from the projectile. LEGO can be sooo much fun!

Same thing here, if the white dish get's hit the projectile leaves the cannon in a hurry...

Alternative model.
Alternative model target. Why couldn't TLG have come up with a different theme for the alternative model? This is more of a variation on the main model.

Great pieces
It has two cannons, but their in teal and purple.
The technic figure that comes with the set might come in handy some day.
