Time for ULV-competition number three in Swedish history! 15 persons and 16 vehicles battled for the prize!
ULV is about building and racing the Ultimate LEGO Vehicle (ULV in short). The competition is created by The Rev. Powell Smith. For a more detailed description about the competition, see this page.
The building process has begun!

The name cards accidentally got thrown away so I lost the name of Anders second creation. Did not enter the race.

Sofia stuck with the theme from last time and made Spionskåpbil II (espionage van), or in short: Number two.

Scream by Harri. His secondary vehicle and the only secondary vehicle allowed to enter the competition. Harri keeps the tradition of seasonthemed vehicles. Note the drivers hand in one of the windows.
Sta-Bil by Anki. The driver is her own Fabuland figure.

Somehow Anders always manage a more or less diabolic face on the events.
Ankis Sta-Bil gets a few cm further than Tobbes AlterEgo.
Jenny starts her vehicle, with every bodies selective memory she was allowed to give it a small push.
Pernilla gets over sex meters and completely crushes everybody else in this subcomp. Not to be compared with Screams five cm. ;)
Prize awards. Booby prize #1 goes to Jonatan. It's a 3156 Fun Clothes.
Pernilla got first prize, a 8374 Williams F1 Team Racer 1:27, this was her first LEGO set in a long time. See Anders building report here (in Swedish only).
Something tells me it would take a lot before Erics driver of GDLA fell out...
Karl got booby prize #2, a Duplo Tool-cap donated by Hikmet.

Sofias Number Two got a wheelbase longer then Emils Red Devil.
It appears to be hard work to have two vehicles in the competition.

Esthetic's = points. Max 16 x 15 = 240.
Construction = 16 - (number of lost pieces), max = 16 & min = 0. I'm terrible disappointed that not more pieces fell off!
Speed = Points. A total victory gave 16 points. Decided by a cup. The vehicle that got beaten by the winner in the first round still got 8 points.
Distance = standings.
Jump = How far did the driver go?
After applying some math on this the standings became:

Things to improve till next time
The new way to let the speed be a cup worked like a charm, the problem with to many vehicles is solved.
The new starting gate was a bliss, thanks to my dad who made it in the last minute.
Till next time a loop would be interesting! :D
Some wanted the results from jumping to be where the vehicles touch down and not where the drivers comes to rest.
A longer venue so the ramp don't need to be lowered so much would be great.
